I love this project, it’s easy and fun and they look great! We custom cut these Initial + Name Pallet Sign. Here are the supplies I used for this project:
- 2 brushes, 1″ and 3/4″
- 2 Wood Cutouts + Pallet Sign
- Paint (we are using Bungalow 47 paint colors of your choice)
- E6000 Glue
- small fan for drying (optional)
We start this project by painting the pallet. I gave it 2 coats, and don’t forget to paint the sides too. (the pics are from painting the 3 different examples in the picture)
As your pallet is drying. paint the initial and letters. I like to start by painting the sides so I have something to hold onto, then I lay it down and paint the front. I gave each, two coats.
Next I dry brushed the name paint color onto the pallet sign. You can mix this up a little and dry brush another color if you would like or maybe multiple colors. You can go heavy or light here, whatever your distressing preference!
Do the same thing with the initial + name, (I totally forgot to take a picture here). I used the pallet color on my initial + name.
Let them dry and then glue them to the pallet. I used E6000 for mine. add glue to the fat parts of the letters and not the skinny one. It will ooze all over your pallet if you do!
Let it dry for a few hours and you are ready to hang it on the wall or add it to your mantle!
