I saw a need for cute, affordable frames for all of the paintings I was teaching at the studio and it took off from there!  I suddenly became a go-to for friends who needed help with décor and other Pinterest-inspired projects. I opened a small storefront on Kemp Street in March of 2015, selling those cute frames, door hangers, monograms and anything else I could put a price sticker on!  I was also asked to participate in a few local craft shows and gift markets and was overwhelmed with the LOVE I received from my Framed! customers.

I still enjoyed teaching workshops but I didn’t have a studio anymore. At this point, I would travel to any location and teach classes. Churches, bars, homes, schools – you name it, I taught there! To meet this demand, I started looking for a location that would give me space to create, teach and sell items I’ve designed as well as other lines I had found during trips to Dallas Market. I wanted to be your one-stop personalized gift store!

During my search, I reached out to other small business owners in my circle with the idea of opening the Loft Marketplace. The Loft is perfect collective because it brings small business owners together to provide a well-rounded selection of gifts to our local market and most importantly, because it is the perfect home for Framed!

This little dream I had has turned into so much more.  I’m thankful for the love and support of my friends and family, who sometimes believed in me more than I believed in myself. I am so grateful I get to come to work every day and do what I LOVE and it’s all because of my wonderful Framed! customers here in Wichita Falls and around the world.  Feel free to shop, be inspired and show me some Framed! love!
